It has been a very busy four days for everybody who was there:
The exhibitors from overseas and all Japan
The Minsiters of Tourism who took part in the 1st Ministerial Round Table and the Global Tourism Forum
The representatives of UNWTO and WTTC
The ambassadors to Japan who took time to meet visitors at their countries’ stands
The travel agents and tour operators who came for the Business meetings
The wine producers and wine sellers who provided the pleiad of delicious wines from all over the world
The national tourism offices and minsitries of tourism that tiredlessly tended to the public over the four days
The performers who kept the visitors entertained by singing, dancing and talking at the stages and at their countries’ stands
The lose-fit costume characters who spiced the exhibition with shapes and color
The technical staff who ensured that the exhibiton, meetings and performances would go smoothly
The parents who brought their kids to the exhibition
The students who came to promote their ideas about future travel and tourism
And eventually for the organizers who worked tirelessly for all through the year to make the EXPO the event it is: the laregest and most comprehensive travel trade event in Asia.
We thank everybody, every single person, for making this EXPO a reality and helping us continue to strive for a better industry and a better world.
The exact figures of the visitors will be officially announced at the home page of T-EXPO in the coming days.
Yet, we are happy to announce that over 190,000 people, both from the trade and general public visited the exhibition over the four days of the event!
And although this year’s EXPO is over, the show is not over yet!
If you wonder why, here is the reason:
The articles, pics and reports about the multiple events held over the four days will be coming out soon.
They will be available at the EXPO’s home page, UNWTO’s Asia Newsletter, newspapers and magazines.
And yes, Tourism EXPO Japan 2018 is only one year ahead! It will be held from Sep 20th to Sep 23rd at Tokyo Big Sight!
We are very much looking forward to seeing you all there again!
